Do you have a Pinterest board dedicated to Christmas sewing projects for kids?
You might need one after this post!
You may be thinking, “SEWING WITH KIDS?! ARE YOU KIDDING, SHANNON?!”
I am not the world’s most confident seamstress, but even I managed a little felt Christmas bauble project with my class and it was a fabulous way to end the year. (That was my “you can do this!” pep talk in case you missed it’s subtle nuances.)
How cute are those penguins up top? They come from Trixi, my Sewing Yoda.
Miss 3 is obsessed with learning the names of ALL the reindeers (which is really stretching my memory!) She would love these reindeer ornaments. Love the big red nose on this Rudolph!
How about this Scandinavian Christmas gnome? Definitely looks like the kind of guy you could play some Christmas Monopoly with!
Miss 3 has asked when the snow will arrive for Christmas. She has clearly been watching too many Christmas cartoons from the Northern Hemisphere. I may have to appease her with some Snowman Softies. Or these guys (love the detail on his scarf!)
Lots of different stitches to experiment with on this Christmas tree.
These pear ornaments are kawaii!
We all need some gingerbread men at this time of the year.
I love how the clever Joanna and her kids used cookie cutters as their templates for their gingerbread men.
These Christmas robins are delightful.
I love craft projects inspired by books. Here are some Christmas Cats that go beyond the book.
This Christmas Candy Cone is exquisite!
Excuse me now whilst I go and pin all of these!
