Earlier in the year, I was slightly alarmed when I started seeing Father’s Day mentioned on social media.
Then I remembered that we don’t celebrate Father’s Day here until September.
The international multi-date celebrating be confusing.
And really, the cool dude in your life should be celebrated every day.
Here’s a free printable Father’s Day card to celebrate the cool dude(s) in your life.
I like to think of this card as a Mr Potato Head portrait for the hipster dad.
(Others may simply call it a portrait. But just check out some of the rad facial hair.)
Print out both sheets.
Let the littles colour in whichever facial feature/ adornment that tickles their fancy.
Pink hair appeared to be the trend at our place.
Younger children will need some help to cut out these features.
Fold the card in half and let the mini-creator glue the features in place.
You might like to print onto coloured card.
Or cut the dude out and glue it onto some of your child’s artwork.
We never say no to embellishing with washi tape around here.
Write a sweet message inside and you’ve got the card part of Father’s Day covered.
Give yourself a pat on the back. (And have an awesome day with the dude in your life.)
