Mary Alice revealed her love of connecting, collaborating and community during an Instagram conversation, and at that moment, I knew she was my kinda creative lady. We’ve also had several hilarious exchanges about this season’s Game of Thrones (and that will always earn you extra points in my books.) Mary Alice is the brains behind Brainy Beginnings Network, a place filled with insanely rad creative ideas. All of her projects have this magical and unique twist to them. It was most excellent to get a peek into the brain of this genius! Introducing Mary Alice!
I am… A lover of all things whimsical, quirky, and creative. I like ideas. Actually, I love ideas. I love to create new ideas and to put new ideas into motion. I like to sit for hours on end just thinking. Well, at least that’s what I did before I had kids. Now I sit for about 1.5 minutes before being asked to retrieve cookies and milk, STAT.

I’m really proud of… Oh. I’m not sure! I’m proud of my ability to make friends. I really love people and I love making friend
Someone once told me… “Live by your hopes and not your fears.” -My Grandmother via my Mother. This may sound like generic information in the day of inspirational memes but it’s actually quite profound. If you consider how many of our actions are fear driven…or how much we hold back due to fear, it’s quite astounding! If we lived singly by our hope, we would live entirely different and frankly liberated lives!
My advice to you is … Go for it. And go hard. Whatever it is that you want to do, make it happen. I think it starts with believing that you can, making a plan and working towards your goal until it is realized.
