Is it too early to call? Has Spring Sprung?
I hope the sun has been shining in your neck of the woods.
As you can see, this week we tried our hand at this floating chalk activity from Picklebums.
It ended with the chalk having “bath time” and the Toddler attempting to get herself into the water tub.
Who owns that kid?
Stacey caused major salivation and aching teeth issues with her Salted Caramel Cheesecake Brownies recipe.
I may be sending her my future dental bills.
(Incidentally I did visit my dentist on the weekend for a filling. This does not deter me in the slightest from giving this recipe a whirl….)
Speaking of sweet treats, we’re leaning towards the Australian Women’s Weekly butterfly cake for the imminent 2nd birthday of The Little Ladybird. (By we, I clearly mean me.) Luckily Jo has me sorted with tips on how to make this a simple, tear-free process.
How do you know when your family is complete? Jody’s insight into this question is lovely.
Who knew feathers could look this snazzy? Bec has me craving 100s and 1000s with this awesome DIY…..
Just when I thought I had whittled down my picture book wishlist, Tania has showcased some amazing books she has recently purchased.
I better learn how to build bookshelves. I can’t wait to put Zanni’s new picture book on said bookshelves!
Do you enjoy trips to the Dentist?
Is your family complete? How did you know?

I’m linking up with the lovely ladies at The Annoyed Thyroid, Calm to Conniption,
A Little Part of the World and My2Morrows for their Ultimate Rabbit Hole link-up party.
Continue your meanderings with them!
Ah you gotta love a kid who wants to be physically part of the art activity!
She can turn anything into a water play activity!!
IT IS SO NOT SPRING HERE YET!
Console yourself with some of that brownie. Doctor’s orders! Doctors trump dentists, yeah?
P.S it was FREAKING cold today in SYD. Totes called that too early!
hahah I’ve done the same thing. Brownie it is!
My mum made me one of those butterfly cakes when I was a kid. How cool is that!? I LOVED it as I’m sure your daughter will too. And possibly still remember it 40 years later!?!?! x
Cake makes for the best memories!!!
I missed a few of these links so off to check them out now. Love these meandering posts 🙂
Thanks for popping by xx
Yes I do gross out when my kids pick up feathers but Bec from Pinch Me Beautiful makes her feathers look perfectly beautiful. 100s and 1000s – who would have thought?! She’s one clever and creative gal.
Bahaha! I pretend to be all cool about it but on the inside I’m really freaking out. Yuck!!
If the feathers looked like Bec’s however….
